Estrogen and progesterone are terms I have been hearing a lot more lately. Of course, I have always known they were types of hormones in our body. But the main function, purpose or even definition of them is certainly something I could never tell you.
My hormones have always been funky, but within these last few months of meeting with an endometriosis specialist, I have heard them talk about these two hormones a lot more. I felt it was important for me to finally learn about each and the role they are playing in my body.
